The structure of a DC brushless cooling fan can be primarily divided into four main components: the rotor, the stator, the outer frame, and the motor (or engine), along with several smaller, miscellaneous parts. First, the fan rotor section includes the fan blades—the core component responsible for generating airflow—and the fan shaft, which supports and balances the rotation of the blades.
