What are the functions of blades in DC fans?
After DC voltage and electromagnetic induction, the DC fan transforms electrical energy into machinery to drive the blades to rotate. Therefore, the fan shell and blades are an indispensable whole. Most people know that these two parts are very important, so what is the role between them?
First, blade curvature: in a certain range, the greater the curvature of the blade, the greater the kinetic energy of the gas at the same speed, that is, the greater the air volume and wind pressure; at the same time, the greater the resistance of the blade, the greater the torque of the motor.
Second, motor diameter: due to the existence of motor and bearing, the central part of DC fan spindle inevitably has no air flow through the blind area, and the diameter of the spindle determines the size of the blind area. The size of the spindle diameter mainly depends on the power of the electric fan motor - the high-power motor needs a larger stator winding coil, which must occupy more space. When it is unable to expand vertically (add height), it has to expand horizontally (increase area).
Third, blade radian: in addition to having a certain curvature on the section, the DC fan blades do not extend vertically along the radial direction in the top plane, but slightly zigzag towards the direction of rotation, showing a certain radian. If the blade extends vertically along the radial direction, the air flow driven by the rotation of the DC cooling fan will be scattered on one side of the air outlet, the air supply interval is short, and the "strength" is not concentrated; if the current product version is slightly curved, it can ensure that the air flow is concentrated in the column space directly in front of the air outlet, adding the air supply interval and air pressure.
Fourth, blade interval: if the interval between blades is too small, it will cause air flow disturbance, add friction on the blade surface, and reduce the efficiency of the electric fan; if the interval between blades is too large, it will lead to the increase of pressure loss and the lack of wind pressure.
