What are the key differences between AC fans and DC fans? To answer this question, let’s hear a detailed explanation from a DC fan manufacturer. Let’s take a closer look together—hopefully, this will be helpful to you.

A DC fan converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through direct current voltage and electromagnetic induction, thereby driving the fan blades to rotate. Thus, the fan’s housing and blades form an integral, indispensable assembly. Most people recognize the importance of these two components—but what exactly is the relationship between them? First, blade curvature: Within a certain range, the greater the blade curvature, the higher the kinetic energy of the gas at the same rotational speed, resulting in greater airflow and higher wind pressure. At the same time, the blades experience greater resistance, which in turn demands higher torque from the motor. Second, motor diameter: Due to the presence of the motor and bearings, the central portion of the DC fan’s main shaft inevitably remains free of airflow.

Cooling fans are typically categorized into the following three types: 1. Axial-flow: The direction of airflow at the outlet is parallel to the axis of rotation. 2. Centrifugal: Utilizing centrifugal force, this type of fan expels airflow outward along the blades. 3. Mixed-flow: Combines the characteristics of both axial-flow and centrifugal fans.

When choosing a DC fan, have you ever found yourself unsure about which one to pick? Today, I’ll show you how to select a DC fan that’s both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Actually, there are six key principles to consider when selecting a DC fan: First, choose a fan that can achieve the smallest possible size. Based on the environmental requirements of your installation space, select the smallest-sized cooling fan that meets your needs. Second, opt for a fan that consumes the least amount of power. Energy efficiency is a major consideration when choosing a cooling fan. Third, select a fan that produces the lowest noise level. Noise levels have always been an important benchmark for evaluating a fan’s quality, so you should be especially careful when making your choice in this regard. Fourth, choose...

Generally, the service life of a DC brushless fan is affected by the operating environment and working pressure. If the cooling fan operates in a high-temperature environment, it will accelerate the evaporation of the lubricating fluid in the oil-immersed bearings, causing the device to shrink, increasing friction, and boosting coil resistance. This leads to a vicious cycle in which heat generation rises sharply, further elevating the temperature.

DC fans have become extremely common in our daily lives—laptops and computer systems, for example, all rely on cooling fans. However, during use, DC cooling fans inevitably encounter some issues. So, what should we do when a DC cooling fan malfunctions? 1. While in use, the DC fan suddenly starts making exceptionally loud noises—sometimes even louder than the sound of the computer case’s power supply. Solution: In such cases, the fan’s lubricant has likely dried up, or the fan has accumulated too much dust. All you need to do is separate the heatsink from the fan, clean the fan thoroughly, dry it completely, and then apply a small amount of lubricant.

From April 23 to 26, our company successfully concluded its participation in the Russia International Communications Exhibition at the Ruby Pavilion in Moscow. At the exhibition, we showcased a range of products including DC fans, DC blowers, and boosted fans. We actively introduced our products to visiting foreign exhibitors, laying a solid foundation for further expanding our brand beyond China and stepping onto the global stage!

One important cooling device used in modern industrial machinery is the DC cooling fan. It boasts numerous advantages—such as excellent cooling performance, long service life, simple structure, and easy installation—making it widely adopted for mechanical cooling applications. So, do you know what a DC cooling fan actually is? A DC cooling fan is primarily composed of a rotor, stator, blades, and other auxiliary components. Its control circuit typically incorporates many semiconductor components, which are now often integrated into one or more ICs. Many manufacturers specialize in designing and producing various models of motor-control ICs specifically tailored for use in fan circuits. Although different IC models feature varying control circuits, their primary purpose remains the same: to effectively regulate the fan’s operation.
