    DC fan They’ve become extremely common in our daily lives—take laptops and computer systems, for example; all of these devices rely on cooling fans. However, when we use DC cooling fans, they’re bound to encounter some issues from time to time. So, what should we do if a DC cooling fan malfunctions?
1. During use, the DC fan suddenly started making exceptionally loud noises—sometimes even louder than the sound of the chassis power supply.
Solution: In this case, the fan’s lubricant has likely dried up, or the fan has accumulated too much dust. All you need to do is separate the radiator from the fan, clean the fan, dry it thoroughly, and then apply a bit of lubricant.
2. The fan shifted its position on its own during use.
Solution: In this case, the fastener that secures the fan has definitely broken—just replace it.
3. A “clicking” impact sound occurs when the fan is rotating.
Solution: This was caused by the fan hitting the data cable. Simply use a rubber band or something similar to neatly bundle up the loose data cables.
The above is a description of the troubleshooting steps for when a DC cooling fan malfunctions. Of course, the issues mentioned above are those we typically encounter most often—and ones that we can usually resolve ourselves.

Advantages and Applications of Oil-Bearing DC Fans

The pivot joint is fixed at the position of the motor stator base, ensuring an appropriate gap between the rotor and the stator. Of course, there must also be a clearance between the shaft core and the bearings to prevent the shaft core from becoming locked and thus unable to function. The stator structure of the motor—hereafter referred to as the "stator"—is designed in such a way that, once power is supplied, an induced magnetic field will be generated between the rotor and the stator. The control circuit then drives the electric fan motor into operation. Therefore, in the conventional fan motor design, as long as the fan rotor, the motor stator, and the drive circuit work together via the pivot joint between the shaft core and the bearings and through magnetic field induction, the motor can operate effectively.
