Industry Trends

The new-energy vehicle industry is rapidly developing, driving advancements in automotive thermal management technology. Heat sinks are essential components in automotive cooling systems, and their performance has come under widespread scrutiny. As for how to select cooling fans for new-energy vehicles, an increasing number of users no longer focus solely on price; instead, factors such as fan lifespan, noise level, rotational speed, and stability have become indispensable considerations.

First, the control circuit of a DC cooling fan—composed of auxiliary components such as the rotor, stator, and blades—should incorporate a large number of semiconductor components. Currently, these components have been integrated into one or more ICs. Many manufacturers specialize in designing various types of motor-control ICs specifically for use in fan circuits. Although the control circuits implemented by different ICs vary considerably, their primary goal is to provide the coil with effective functionality, thereby offering enhanced control and maintenance features for the motor.
