When the machine’s process parameters deviate significantly from their designed values, the machine often ends up operating at speeds or loads that exceed its design specifications—or, conversely, at speeds or loads that are too low—thus failing to achieve its intended operational performance. Moreover, if the operating point approaches or falls into the critical speed range, the lubrication or cooling of the cooling fans may be inadequate. Improper handling during machine startup, shutdown, or speed-up and speed-down procedures can result in insufficient body temperature, uneven thermal expansion, or even overheating, leading to annealing of the machine components and a loss of their inherent strength.
Fourth, reasons for the installation and maintenance of cooling fans:
Improper installation of cooling fans in mechanical equipment, misalignment of components, or poor shaft alignment can result in excessive preload, improper rotor positioning, and failure to perform maintenance according to regulations, thereby disrupting the machine’s original fit and assembly relationships.
