The start-up voltage: Typically, the rated voltage of a DC fan is 12V, while its start-up voltage is generally below 7V. Since the system-supplied voltage may be unstable, the lower the start-up voltage, the greater the margin relative to the rated voltage of 12V. This means that the DC fan can operate over a wider voltage range, ensuring it can be reliably activated at low voltages even when the supply voltage is unstable. Under conditions where the air volume and pressure remain constant, the lower the fan’s operating current, the lower its shaft power will be—while the actual power transferred to the gas remains unchanged, resulting in higher fan efficiency. The pivot joint is fixed at the position of the motor stator base, ensuring an appropriate gap between the rotor and the stator. Of course, there must also be a clearance between the shaft core and the bearings to prevent the shaft core from becoming locked and thus unable to function. The stator structure of the motor—hereafter referred to as the "stator"—is designed in such a way that, once power is supplied, an induced magnetic field will be generated between the rotor and the stator. The control circuit then drives the electric fan motor into operation. Therefore, in the conventional fan motor design, as long as the fan rotor, the motor stator, and the drive circuit work together via the pivot joint between the shaft core and the bearings and through magnetic field induction, the motor can operate effectively.
