In October 2016, the new auto industry quality management system "IATF 16949:2016", jointly developed by the international organization for Standardization (ISO) and the international automotive working group (IATF), was officially released. This has had a significant impact on the automotive industry and has been focused by relevant enterprises.
As a technical specification for quality management system of automobile industry, ISO / TS 16949 standard was jointly developed by IATF and ISO / TC 176 Technical Committee of ISO / TC 176, and released its first edition in 1999. Since then, it has become one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry, and is committed to coordinating different assessment and certification systems in the global automotive supply chain.
