Generally correct installation DC fan Factors that influence a product’s thermal performance—including the installation orientation, wind direction, placement location, and distance from the heat-dissipating component—all play a role. Even with the same DC fan, its cooling performance can vary significantly depending on how it’s installed. Courtyard. To properly install a DC fan, please follow these guidelines:
First, the ducts at the fan’s inlet and outlet must have separate supports; it is strictly prohibited to place overlapping weights from the ducts onto the fan’s components. When installing the fan, pay close attention to its horizontal alignment. The connection between the fan’s mounting surface and the foundation, as well as the joint with the exhaust duct, should be adjusted to ensure proper alignment. However, ensure proper alignment; do not force the connection.
Second, the control box supplied with the fan must be compatible with the corresponding fan (in terms of power, voltage, pneumatic type, control mode, and other relevant parameters).
Third, the fan wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician. The wiring must be correct and reliable—especially at the control box, where the wiring labels must precisely match the numbers on the fan terminals. The fan’s enclosure must be reliably grounded, and the grounding must be secure; using neutral connection as a substitute for proper grounding is strictly prohibited. Grounding;
Third, after the fan is installed, use your hand or a lever to gently rotate the impeller and check for any signs of excessive tightness or rubbing. Also, ensure there are no objects obstructing the rotation. Only proceed with a trial run if no abnormalities are detected. The exposed parts of the fan’s transmission mechanism must be equipped with protective guards (to be provided by the user). Note: If the fan’s air inlet is not connected to a duct, you will also need to provide a protective mesh or other installation device (to be provided by the user).
Fourth, after all the fans have been installed, you should check inside the fans to ensure there are no tools or debris left behind.
Finally, we’ll inspect each item and, after testing the machine, check for any abnormalities. If everything is normal, it means the job has been completed perfectly.
In addition to the installation methods for DC fans mentioned above, there are two primary installation approaches for DC fan cooling: exhaust ventilation and blow-through ventilation. The exhaust ventilation system produces lower noise levels but has relatively lower heat dissipation capacity, whereas the blow-through ventilation system generates higher noise levels but offers greater heat dissipation capacity. Fast, but easily allows dust to enter the system, requiring an external protective mesh cover.
