Many people, after making a purchase, DC fan If you’re not sure how to install it, Jiangshan Lai Electronics will now show you how to install a DC fan.
First, carefully read the instruction manual and product specifications for the DC fan to familiarize yourself with its specifications, design, impeller rotation direction, and airflow inlet and outlet directions. Next, check whether all fan components are properly installed. Finally, before installation, take appropriate protective measures: the fan must be equipped with safety devices during installation to prevent accidents, and wiring should be connected by a qualified professional.
Things to note during installation:
First, the ducts connecting to the DC fan’s inlet and outlet must have separate supports; it is strictly prohibited to place overlapping weights on the fan’s components. When installing the fan, pay close attention to its horizontal alignment. The joint between the fan and the foundation, as well as the connection to the exhaust duct, should be adjusted to ensure a natural fit—forceful connections are absolutely forbidden.
Second, the control box supplied with the fan must be compatible with the corresponding fan (in terms of power, voltage, pneumatic mode, control type, etc.). Third, the fan wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician. The wiring must be correct and reliable—especially at the control box, where the wiring labels must precisely match the corresponding labels on the fan terminals. The fan housing must be reliably grounded, and the grounding must be secure; using neutral connection as a substitute for proper grounding is strictly prohibited.
Fourth, after installing the DC fan, use your hand or a lever to gently rotate the impeller and check for any signs of excessive tightness or rubbing. Also, ensure there are no objects obstructing the rotation. Only proceed with a trial run if no abnormalities are detected. The exposed parts of the fan’s transmission mechanism must be equipped with a protective guard (to be provided by the user). If the fan’s air inlet is not connected to a duct, you will also need to install a protective mesh or other suitable mounting device (to be provided by the user).
Fifth, after all the fans have been installed, you should check inside the fans to ensure there are no leftover tools or debris.
Finally, inspect each part of the DC fan and, after testing the machine, check for any abnormalities. If everything is normal, it means the task has been completed perfectly.
