        During the operation of cooling fans, several preventable factors can lead to fan failure. So what are the common problems encountered when cooling fans are running? And what are the corresponding solutions? Common issues and their solutions during cooling fan operation typically include increased noise levels, loss of rotational speed, or even complete fan shutdown. The main causes behind these conditions are as follows:

  The cooling fan has accumulated too much dust: Cooling fan During operation, the airflow generated by the device not only dissipates heat but also draws dust from the air onto its surface, thereby increasing the load on the cooling fan, altering the airflow environment, and potentially causing increased noise or abnormal sounds. Therefore, to prevent this situation, we should periodically clean the dust off the cooling fan.

  Normal wear: Wear in the cooling fan’s bearing can cause localized vibration of the fan blades, which is the primary source of excessive noise. During daily use, wear may lead to slight deviations, causing the center of gravity of the blades to shift off the axis. As the cooling fan operates, this results in significant vibration, further exacerbating bearing wear and eventually leading to complete failure.

  Motor Damage: Once the cooling fan motor reaches its designed service life, or if it experiences internal short circuits, overload conditions, or power surges, the motor may become damaged and need to be replaced. Therefore, when we first start using the cooling fan, it’s important to perform regular maintenance at intervals to promptly identify and address any issues, thoroughly removing dust from the surface of the cooling fan. The operating environment for the cooling fan must strictly adhere to established standards and regulations.

The pivot joint is fixed at the position of the motor stator base, ensuring an appropriate gap between the rotor and the stator. Of course, there must also be a clearance between the shaft core and the bearings to prevent the shaft core from becoming locked and thus unable to function. The stator structure of the motor—hereafter referred to as the "stator"—is designed in such a way that, once power is supplied, an induced magnetic field will be generated between the rotor and the stator. The control circuit then drives the electric fan motor into operation. Therefore, in the conventional fan motor design, as long as the fan rotor, the motor stator, and the drive circuit work together via the pivot joint between the shaft core and the bearings and through magnetic field induction, the motor can operate effectively.
