For those of you who are somewhat tech-savvy, you know that when we’re shopping for graphics cards in our daily lives, the physical design often plays a significant role. For instance, there’s the difference between models with RGB lighting and those without; there’s the standard, no-frills reference designs versus the flashy, eye-catching custom designs. And then there’s one aspect that stands out most—the shape and number of cooling fans. To most people, having more fans naturally implies better cooling performance—just like a vehicle with more wheels tends to outpace one with fewer. But is it really true that the number of fans directly determines how well a graphics card will cool?

After extensive testing with various graphics cards, it was found that... Cooling fan It’s not entirely without reason that the more graphics cards you have, the better—but why do graphics cards come equipped with fans? Of course, it’s to facilitate heat dissipation. However, this heat dissipation is calculated based on the actual heat output of the graphics card itself. That’s precisely why a graphics card with more fans tends to deliver stronger performance.

Since the GPU in a graphics card generates heat no less than that of the CPU when operating at high speeds, and high-end graphics cards, to meet their demanding computational requirements, feature an enormous number of transistors, naturally producing substantial heat. If we continue using the small fans or aluminum heat sinks of the past, they simply won't be able to meet the graphics card's cooling needs—and if the heat buildup isn't effectively dissipated, it could even lead to thermal throttling or failure.

It not only affects the lifespan of the graphics card but also impacts its performance. In severe cases, not only will the computer become sluggish, but the graphics card itself may even get damaged. Actually, air-cooled graphics card cooling systems are quite similar to CPU coolers—they primarily target the GPU core, as well as the video memory and circuitry. Heat pipes transfer the heat generated by the GPU to the散热 fins, and then a fan blows away the heat.

Advantages and Applications of Oil-Bearing DC Fans

The pivot joint is fixed at the position of the motor stator base, ensuring an appropriate gap between the rotor and the stator. Of course, there must also be a clearance between the shaft core and the bearings to prevent the shaft core from becoming locked and thus unable to function. The stator structure of the motor—hereafter referred to as the "stator"—is designed in such a way that, once power is supplied, an induced magnetic field will be generated between the rotor and the stator. The control circuit then drives the electric fan motor into operation. Therefore, in the conventional fan motor design, as long as the fan rotor, the motor stator, and the drive circuit work together via the pivot joint between the shaft core and the bearings and through magnetic field induction, the motor can operate effectively.
