DC cooling fan The rotor includes DC cooling-fan blades—the source of airflow—, the fan’s central shaft, which supports and balances the rotation of the blades, the rotor magnetic ring, permanent magnets that play a crucial role in switching magnetic poles and adjusting rotational speed, and the outer frame of the magnetic ring, which secures the magnetic ring in place. Additionally, it comprises supporting springs; together, these components ensure the stable rotation of the entire assembly. The motor section generates the rotational direction and is key to precisely controlling the magnitude and speed of rotation. This design boasts excellent speed-regulating performance and simple control.
1. DC cooling fans are designed to address heat dissipation issues in computers, electrical appliances, machinery, and power supplies, thereby extending the service life of equipment and reducing the operating temperature of the environment. In some devices, the airflow and air pressure generated by DC cooling fans are also utilized to fully enable the device’s functionality.
Second, when DC cooling fans are used in enclosures with positive-pressure air ducts, most of the heat can be expelled outside the enclosure. This ensures that the equipment achieves excellent thermal performance. At the same time, it underscores that effective heat dissipation is essential for industrial equipment—even today’s smartphones are no exception. Poor heat dissipation can easily lead to system crashes.
3. When used in a top-mounted power supply chassis, DC cooling fans can promptly remove heat from the CPU; however, they will also cause their own temperature to rise. Smaller DC cooling fans tend to keep the power supply at a lower temperature and can help prevent the formation of dead air zones at the top of the chassis. In a chassis with a bottom-mounted power supply, the DC cooling fan draws air directly from outside the chassis, keeping the power supply remarkably cool—thus promoting power supply stability and extending its service life.
