Common household appliances such as computers, speakers, induction cookers, and refrigerators all make use of it. DC cooling fan It is used to address heat dissipation issues in power supplies, reduce the operating temperature of equipment, and extend the service life of devices. Some devices also leverage the airflow and air pressure generated by cooling fans to enhance their functionality—for example, air hockey tables rely on fan-generated pressure to keep the puck floating and gliding across the table surface.
Operating in harsh environments such as high temperatures, heavy dust, and humid air calls for fans that are entirely made of metal, capable of withstanding high temperatures, and equipped with dust- and moisture-proof features. Due to their high technical requirements, these fans tend to be relatively expensive.
Thermal cooling fans are often used in high-temperature environments to dissipate heat from specific components or entire systems, bringing the surface temperatures of certain parts down to safe levels. However, we often encounter a related issue: when the ambient temperature is too high, can the cooling fan itself withstand it? Just how high a temperature can these cooling fans tolerate?
Based on the material properties of cooling fans, conventional cooling fans can operate within a temperature range of -10 to 75 degrees Celsius. However, the higher the temperature, the shorter the fan’s lifespan—especially in high-temperature environments exceeding 75 degrees Celsius, where special treatment is required. Otherwise, the cooling fan is prone to overheating and eventual failure. The components most likely to burn out are the chips, followed by wires, the outer frame, and the plastic tubing, which can easily deform. All these defects can be fatal to the cooling fan.
After multiple confirmations by the customer, it has consistently operated stably when used long-term in environments above 99°C and can be reliably guaranteed to function above 100°C.
