As a manufacturer of cooling fans for mining rigs, we know that the temperature in mining rig rooms—often referred to as “sauna rooms”—can get extremely high. However, if the mining rig itself overheats, it can lead to malfunctions and even cause the rig to shut down unexpectedly. Ultimately, this will negatively impact the rig’s performance. Over time, such overheating can result in irreversible damage, significantly shortening the lifespan of the mining rig. Therefore, it’s crucial to ensure effective heat dissipation for mining rigs. DC cooling fans are used to dissipate the heat generated by mining rigs and expel it to the external environment, thereby keeping the rig’s operating temperature within a normal range. So, what exactly are the issues associated with cooling fans for mining rigs?
Due to their high temperatures and prolonged use, miners must ensure that the following two points do not cause any problems.
No. 1: The volume of air used for cooling must be sufficiently large. Even if the noise level is slightly higher, it’s essential to effectively dissipate the basic heat. As mentioned above, the high temperatures generated by mining machines can cause problems.
No. 2, DC cooling fan The quality must be stable, and due to prolonged operation in high-temperature and dusty environments, the cooling fan has stopped rotating. Once the cooling fan stops spinning, the miner’s temperature will immediately rise.
Jingyang Da has several sets of molds for DC cooling fans. The most representative is the 12038 cooling fan. We have four sets of molds in total. Among these, the following two 12038 high-airflow, air-pressure cooling fans are used in mining machines.
These two models use more DC cooling fans. The first model features 11 blades and operates at 4,300 rpm, while the second model has 7 blades and runs at 6,000 rpm. The voltage is approximately 12V/2.4A. Both fans deliver very high airflow and air pressure. The speed adjustment function ensures that when the mining machine’s temperature rises, the DC cooling fan’s speed will automatically increase. Otherwise, the fan speed will gradually slow down. This effectively extends the service life and enhances user comfort.
