When we buy a product, we’ll definitely ask about after-sales service. After-sales service essentially revolves around how to care for and maintain the product, because doing so can extend its useful life. DC cooling fan Similarly, only proper maintenance can ensure its smooth operation. Below, we’ll introduce several maintenance methods.
1. The DC cooling fan should be kept clean and tidy in its operating environment at all times. The fan surface must be kept free of dust and debris, and the air inlet and outlet should be free of any obstructions. Regularly remove dust and other debris from the fan and ductwork.
2. The fan may only be operated under fully normal conditions. At the same time, ensure that the power supply capacity is sufficient and the voltage is stable. Running with a phase missing is strictly prohibited. The power supply line must be dedicated; long-term use of temporary lines for power supply is not allowed.
3. DC cooling fans should be stored in a dry environment to prevent the motor from getting damp. When DC cooling fans are stored outdoors, appropriate protective measures must be taken. During storage and handling, care should be taken to avoid impacts or collisions with the DC cooling fans, so as to prevent damage to the fan blades.
4. According to the operating environment, periodically replenish or replace the lubricant in the bearings (for enclosed motor bearings, lubricant does not need to be replaced during the service life). To ensure proper lubrication of the DC cooling fan during operation, lubricate the enclosed bearings and motor bearings at least once every 1,000 hours. Use ZL-3 lithium-based grease to fill one-third of the space between the inner and outer rings of the bearing. It is strictly prohibited to operate the bearings with insufficient lubrication.
5. If, during operation, the DC cooling fan exhibits any of the following conditions—unusual noises, severe overheating of the motor, energization of the casing, tripped circuit breaker, or failure to start—it should be immediately shut down and inspected. To ensure safety, repairs are not permitted while the fan is running. After maintenance, the fan should undergo a trial run for about five minutes to confirm that no abnormalities remain before being put back into normal operation.
