If a DC fan operates in a high-temperature environment, the evaporation of lubricating oil in oil-bearing components will be accelerated, causing the equipment to expand and generate friction. At the same time, the resistance of the coil will increase, triggering a vicious cycle of overheating. This accelerates the aging process of electronic components, significantly reducing the service life of the DC cooling fan.
Dust can alter the mass distribution of fan blades, increase friction, and boost air resistance, thereby impairing the fan’s own heat dissipation. This makes it harder for heat to transfer between the heat sink and the surrounding air, and can even lead to electrostatic discharge that damages components and equipment. Harsh operating environments can significantly reduce the effectiveness of fans and drastically shorten their service life. Moreover, when a cooling fan operates under high pressure, its rotational speed increases, accelerating bearing wear, raising the temperature of the stator windings and electronic components, and consequently shortening the fan’s overall lifespan.
Therefore, the ambient temperature has a significant impact on the lifespan of DC fans. So, we should pay extra attention to the regular maintenance and upkeep of DC fans. During the hot summer months, it’s best to ensure adequate ventilation for machinery and equipment. Additionally, it’s crucial to purchase high-quality, new DC fans. Advantages and Applications of Oil-Bearing DC Fans

The pivot joint is fixed at the position of the motor stator base, ensuring an appropriate gap between the rotor and the stator. Of course, there must also be a clearance between the shaft core and the bearings to prevent the shaft core from becoming locked and thus unable to function. The stator structure of the motor—hereafter referred to as the "stator"—is designed in such a way that, once power is supplied, an induced magnetic field will be generated between the rotor and the stator. The control circuit then drives the electric fan motor into operation. Therefore, in the conventional fan motor design, as long as the fan rotor, the motor stator, and the drive circuit work together via the pivot joint between the shaft core and the bearings and through magnetic field induction, the motor can operate effectively.
