For customers who are new to cooling fans, this is the first choice. Cooling fan manufacturer First and foremost, it’s the price that matters. For example, with the 3007 fan, there are roughly 20 top-tier cooling-fan brands from Japan or Taiwan. On the other hand, there are about 6 to 10 second-tier Taiwanese brands and first-tier mainland Chinese brands. Meanwhile, small-scale workshops in mainland China can offer these fans for as little as around 3 yuan each. Why is there such a huge price difference?
1. If you buy an imported fan, they’ll likely start by praising its excellent quality and performance. Most imported fans are equipped with ball bearings, which have higher costs but longer service lives and consistently stable quality.
2. Domestic first-tier brands are much cheaper than imported brands, but their bearings are oil-lubricated, which results in poorer temperature resistance and dust protection. Even if domestic products use double-ball bearings, they’re still significantly cheaper—though their reliability and stability remain somewhat inferior.

3. Why are small processing workshops in China so inexpensive? Besides low management costs, even though oil-bearing bushings are used in the materials, there are deviations in the precision of the bearings, the precision of the chips, and the precision of other materials as well.
To sum up based on the points mentioned above, no matter who manufactures them, cooling fans will all rotate and have the same basic shape. However, there are differences in certain details—such as noise levels, airflow volume, structural stability, high-pressure and high-flow resistance, temperature tolerance, service life, and defect rates, among others. Of course, here we’re not suggesting that higher-priced products are necessarily better; some cooling-fan manufacturers offer very low prices precisely because they use high-quality materials yet maintain low profit margins, and their factory management is also excellent—even though their profits remain slim.
Therefore, when customers first choose a manufacturer of cooling fans, they need to be vigilant and carefully select the right one!
