IATF 16949 This certification signifies that Shenzhen Jiangshanlai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has been recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). It also serves as a reminder that Jiangshanlai will continue to enhance product quality through improvements in organizational environment, leadership, support, and technology.
In October 2016, the brand-new automotive industry quality management system, “IATF 16949:2016,” jointly developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), was officially released. This has had a significant impact on the automotive industry and has drawn close attention from relevant enterprises.
As a technical specification for quality management systems in the automotive industry, the ISO/TS 16949 standard was jointly developed by the IATF and the “ISO/TC 176 International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee.” The first edition was released in 1999, and since then, it has become one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry. It is dedicated to harmonizing the various assessment and certification systems across the global automotive supply chain.
Its foundation lies in eight management principles: customer focus, leadership, full staff involvement, process approach, systematic approach, continuous improvement, decision-making based on facts, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
It integrates the system requirements that automotive manufacturers from the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, and other countries impose on their suppliers. The standards are stringent and enjoy high credibility within the industry.
Many internationally renowned auto parts suppliers require their downstream customers to make this certification one of the essential criteria for evaluating high-level suppliers. Only manufacturers that have obtained this quality system certification can gain access to the procurement networks of both international and domestic automakers.
